Mum smiling at Dad

For my oldest brother’s 65 birthday I painted my mum’s portrait as his gift. It had special meaning as Dad was the photographer and Mum is lovingly smiling back at him. My brother gave me the biggest compliment when he opened the present. He said “how can you part with this?”. I replied I had the best time looking at her and feeling Dad was there looking as well as I painted. Added plus - was that I had to wait 3 months and could see it everyday while the paint dried. The love kept coming as my brother got a giclee print made of it and sent me it so I have a copy.
